This Could Be Important To Caravan Owners
I put my van in storage for the winter and it goes there during the season if I'm not using it for a couple of weeks. This year I thought I would be all clever and take the wheels off, usual reasons perishing tyres, harder to nick etc. Anyway I read a few weeks ago that if the thieves nick it, not too hard, only need 2 wheels and a bit of effort (the locks on the winter wheels are not brilliant are they?) then the insurance may well be invalid. Why? Cos I wasn't using a wheel clamp as per the policy! I was going to query this with insurers but decided to wait until the summer as if the worst happens, at the moment its all deniable isn't it?
Hope you don't have a big shock with the tyres, after my blowout I bought 3 new ones, pulled out a handfull of tenners and he relieved me of £150!!!
