i have a new hate it is poeple flicking cig's out of car windows and letting them hit the car behind. if i droped sweet wrappers out of my window i would
get called for littering, whats wrong with ash trays? is this just me it annoy's or am i just getting narked over nothing.

I had a honda integra that was damaged by some dipstick throwing his fag out of the window. It got stuck in the plastic of the grille and melted it. I hate them too m8

I agree, ask my Dad how he feels about it, after some clown flicked a butt out the window and it got stuck in his open face helmet and he nearly lost the bike down the middle lane of the M25 a few years back. Just fawking dumb.

I REALLY hate littering, its scummy. Chav's down McD's have been known to get all their litter shoved back in their car window in past. Very satisifing.

If my biggest gripe was somebody turfin a butt out out their window i'd be a much happier person, ranting about the amount of road tax, fuel tax and fag tax would be much more worthwhile, Have a fag and reeeeeeeeeeelax

Yes that really gets me and u always find a fag end on your floor mat that u have walked into the car and u dont even smoke. Cant see why they dont ban smoking and driving its as bad as being on the phone as u drive. A old mate of mine droped his fag as he was driving went in a a wall looking for it cos it was burning him.

It annoys the hell out of me too and I smoke. Not only can it damage peoples motors but, I heard about a disabled lad whose leg was badly burned when a cigarette came in through the car window. Being paralysed from the waist down, he didn't know his leg was burning until he smelt it!!

A hell of a lot of grass verge fires are caused by discarded fag ends and a lot of farmers have lost acres of standing cereal crops.

I agree - as a smoker, and knowing how difficult it is to drive and smoke at the same time.
I tried it once ( when I was really stressed out one morning going to work in the middle of winter.
I obvioulsy don't have that multi tasking dexterity of some folk - so much so that when the smoke got into my eyes, I dropped my mobile phone that was wedged between my chin and shoulder into a hot cup of coffee lodged between my thighs. the scalding effect of hot coffee on my groin made me jump so much that i almost shaved of my mustache with my battery shaver i was using at the time, with one hand, and almost steer into the central reservation with my knees, which made me almost forget the destination I was trying to program into the sat nav at the time with my other free hand.

They recon an estimated 4.5 TRILLION cigarette butts enter the environment every year world wide. That's crazy high. They're really bad for the environment too, as they catch all the goo and dodgy chemicals in each cigarette.

Of course, the good ol' Government won't do much about it. They make too much from tax to put people off by introducing fines or penalties.

some tw@t emptied their ash tray out their window while passing my missus going the other way..straight into her window, she pulled over got rid of what she thought was all of the butts and returned home, ten minutes later looking out the window she couldn't understand why the windows seemed a darker tint....you got it.......and it is a right buŁŁer getting a fire call from control to go to your own house when you are on duty...tends to sharpen up the senses a bit...cost us a nice little dihatsu that I had just rebuilt top to bottom..insurance paid us peanuts for it
were useless..cant realy blame them

Really? I wait till they are mired in traffic, then filter up the passenger side (so they can't see my plate) give em the finger, rip of the wing mirror and scarper.
