Thought I did quite well even though no Surf stuff! Got books, dvd's, a case of beers from around the world the new England footy shirt - yes, I still am a loyal enough to support that lot of overpaid primadonnas! - chocs, and a thermal vest!
The last one worries me cos the better half keeps suggesting I put it on and disappear out in the garage or take the dog for a walk- think she is trying to tell me something?
A few odd and sods as per usual.....but just raided the bank and bought myself a new Canon EOS-350D camera, lenses and battery grip with the xmas Bonus [didn't cover all of it though]....just waiting for Canon to deliver next shipment to Camera Shop.
Just been thinking...£800 could have had a Lift and Snorkel for that....bummer
You shant be dissapointed. I have the earlier 300D and it's a great camera. Show us some arty pics once you've had a play!
Cheers.....been reading up on various sites and checking prices but no real significant difference [even from ebay once added in shipping from HK]...seems every shop is in cohoots about pricing structure or that one conglomorate has bought up all stocks.
Using old Digi-cam at moment [one of the first lot for the pockets] but its slow as a snail and regularly runs out of batteries [x4] when transferring images.
Mainly using Video Camera [Panasonic NV-GS33] at moment so the EOS-350D is to replace the old but still immaculate condition Olympus OM-10 [35 mm film]
Would have loved the 20D model but at £800 just for the body ...phew!
4 American Racing 10x16 polished rims (which still have to arrive), enough euros to order a set of MT's (dunno which brand yet), several usefull tools, a JBL 600W amp, JBL 300W sub, and 100W Infinity Reference speakers.
I just found that my 70 Ah 2 year old battery can be drained within half an hour with just the stereo.
And picked up the last remaining parts for the 2JZ-GE so now I have about everything to start the engine swap.
