you did put the bus bar, washers, insulating thingies all back together exactly as you removed them??... a few have had problems with that...
there's a diagram floating around somewhere... if it's not done right then you'll either blow the fuse or get no power to the plugs.
nee nar nee nar, i'm a fire engine!

OK I Did it WRONG !

I put the buzz bar conector back wrong , blew the 80amp fuse , put it around the right way today , still wouldnt work cos of blown fuse ( mystery how it started today ) garage replaced fuse and checked all the connectors , also added the clips where I lost them from the airbox !

I think the answer is dont do it in a rush in the dark. and dissconnect the batteries when your doing it !

you my have power to the relay, but for a relay to work, it needs two supplies..
One to actually operate the coil, which switches the relay on and off, and another supply for the relay to switch, in this case a supply to the glow plugs.

You may have power to switch the relay on, but if the glow plug 80 amp fuse has blown, you won't actually be switching anything..

Hope this makes sense!!! (I've had a few Strongbow's tonight!!)
              It just does, OK?

Well repaced fuse and it blew again . Put on new relay , rechecked all conections put in yet another fuse and at last it works . never found the cause so puzzeled but mobile
