    I know what you mean. Had a mark 2 cavalier and the fuel gauge on there was absolutley cr@p. That was almost 20 years ago (bl**dy h*ll I must be getting old) and it's only recently when I started using veg oil that I stopped using the trip meter to decide when I needed to fill up - that despite having a number of cars since the cavelier. Ahh the good old days!!
