Oh what a joyous morning, cruising to work in the pouring rain, red light on for low fuel but no worries, only came on last night, plenty of time before I have to fill up, its only 11 miles to work so I'll fill up as I leave. Wrong.
Hit the motorway and the power drops, aim for the nearest exit and she dies on the off ramp, yump her onto the grass verge and go for a wet walk to the nearest garage.
Still at least I've determined my tank capacity. 4 and a bit litres from the loaner petrol can with no spout and cling-wrap for a lid (for this I had to leave €6 deposit), followed by 61.7 litres at the station filling her to the gills. Think I can be certain its a 65l tank so.
This makes it my first straight, uncut, dinodiesel fill for months, no vegoil in the tank at all!
At least it wasn't like trying to restart an older diesel after running out, 30secs priming at the filter, 5 or 6 spins of the engine and away she went.
So I'm sitting here in work with a hot air heater blowy thing drying off, having a cupa as I type.
See y'all later
