The switch and key lock itself seem to be in fine working order, no sign of water intrusion, etc. So that eliminates that. The other door switches - the latch interlocks, door lock switch microswitch, and window up/down microswitch - all seem to be working (continuity tested in "on" and "off").

However - now the window is up, it won't go up or down either on interior or exterior switch. I've now resorted to removing the relay unit from behind the side panel (bit of an effort that).

Can anyone suggest (a) a way of testing/proving the relay unit, and (b) where I can get a replacement...?

Well, after much grief and failed attempts to repair the existing relay unit (some of which I've reported elsewhere on the forums), I finally resigned myself to having to get a replacement and bought a new one - £270 inc VAT from Milners.

It arrived yesterday, and with some trepidation (what if it STILL does work?) I fitted it and I've got a back window that goes up and down again!!

I need to lube the rubbers and grease everything before all the panels go back on, but I think I'm nearly sorted.

.... Except - the wiper doesn't park anymore. It appears to be catching on the bottom of the park bracket and sliding under not up and out. It worked before this all started! I've done a search and found a few comments but these seem to suggest building out the bracket or slide-guide thingy to ensure it slides up and out when parked. Since it worked ok before, can anyone suggest anything else?

      Cheers
