You can run it without any mods on this modified stuff - However I decided that it would be best to fit the heat exchanger anyway so I can play with different mixes of veg oil etc at a later date and biopower say you get better performance with the hot fuel.
The heat exchanger was £75 - I got them to fit it as they delivered the oil - But it is so simple to do (just cut 2 hoses and put on some hose clips) anyone could do it in 30 mins.
The beast is running great at the moment - takes a fraction longer to start but runs fine same performance/economy as diesel - I have only done ~300kms so far but it all seems good.
