Spare tank

A lot of the guys running SVO have 2 tanks - they start on DERV and then swap over once warm. I doubt it would take as much as 10 mins.
Only prob for those with underslug spares is where to put the 2nd tank.

Rear of engine compartment on inner wing passenger side. hilding a couple of liters, can't see a problem with this. Don't worry will sort it out. Have a bit of time on my side.

As Linda says the norm it to have 2 tanks, starting on diesel and switching over to veg-oil.

Many of the kits available are quite simple and involve using a new, smaller tank for dinodiesel for starting and shutting down, keeping the original main tank for the veggie.

Don't forget, not only do these systems call for starting on diesel, but you must also shut down on diesel too. If you fail to switch over to dino soon enough before turning off the lines will not be purged of veggie, which unless restarting within the hour, can cause difficuly when next you attempt to restart.
