How are the standard 2nd gen spoilers attached?

Anyone know how the standard (2nd gen) rear spoilers are attached to the bodywork?

Also anyone know where to get them? I know Roughtrax do a spoiler but I don't like the look of it - its not the same as the standard Toyota one.

There are studs coming from the spoiler into the area of the wiper motor. Thses are attached using extended nuts. If i remember i'll take some pics

So actually through the metal bodywork then?

I thought it must be as I couldn't see anywhere else for it to be attached.
