Went up there reccying with Gav (tonka1. or is that tonka2 now he's got a Paj as well! cough!) today. Nice and wet still, plenty of muddy bits.

Also a rather deep ditch, about 5 ft deep by 5 feet wide that SOMEONE tried to fall in today! Now that was a heart stopping moment! It could of been incredibly messy. Just like the closing scene from the Italian Job. "Hold on lads, I got a great idea!". Sh1t me up, Should of seen the look on their faces! Thank god for long tow strops! SHame no pic, too worried about recovering his truck!

Tried the Heddington Steps to find they are closed till Summer with a TRO. Bummer. Wessex Ridgeway is nice and open for you shiney's. Found a nice little bomb hole to play in too! Great for Zooks Sumo! And a fantastic muddy, rutted bit thats quite technical. And no Land Rangers, so you who been before can guess where I went to play!

Pubs booked for Sat night and camping is also sorted. So all well and good will be a nice weekend.

And now a real scarey thing..........It just dawned on me I USED TO DRINK IN THE BUSTARD.When we was on exercise back in the early eighties...
