I'm sure I saw something on an American website about using a hollow rear bumper as a compressed air tank. I have searched in vain to find it again. Maybe I just dreamt it. Maybe I should patent it? Damn, too late!

If you just want the compress air stored for inflating a tyre then store it in your spare. Your spare will easily carry double its normal running pressure. eg a 265/70/15 runs at 29psi or 2bar. 4 bar or say 60psi in your spare and a double ended hose with manual valve and you can link your spare and a flat open the valve and the pressures equalise inflating your flat. (thats after you fix the puncture lol with an external plug kit)BEWARE OF THE REAPER
