I have had my new BFG muds approx 32" great off road and pretty good on, hardly any noisier than the road tyres, noticed a bit of loss in the acceleration but then they are bigger!
oh BTW I have tried them in the wet too, no probs!
      Nissan Patrol for on-road, and a Land-Rover 110 shed for off-road :-)

Thanks lads decided to go for the 305/70 {33"x12"} size so the BFGs are now £100 dearer. Think that might swing it for the KL71s.
I also like the look of them on your truck Graham and they seem to have served you well enough.

Anyway pics in a month or so will evidence the winner
        cheers lads.

My Mudzillas (Baja Claw copy) are as noisy as f**k on the road! Squirm like a bast**d and sap my fuel economy.

They look the dogs and perform very well offroad though.

I do think I'll be investing in a set of wheels with BFG ATs on sometime for road use though...

Well after much debate, and the fact that kl71s for a 16" rim wont be in the country till mid April, I took the plunge and bought these today.

I have read nothing but good things about them so, fingers crossed I will be as happy as everyone else who has them.

Thanks for all the top advice, as usual for his place.

But as a tight wad I wasn't paying £120 for a spare. So if anyone spots a cheap any make, new or used. 285/75 or a 305/70 or a 33" all for 16" rim give me a shout please

                lost it

Quite happy with my BFG Muds - BUT

On my way to work Monday morning, negotiated a round about and before I knew it I was facing oncoming traffic!

Yep - spun a full 180 degrees. May have just been a rogue bit of ice though...

                Ash.
