Thanks Richard,Now when the grandson sits in the front the missus can have a fag without complaining the wind is spoiling her hair cos she has to have the window open,no problem for me cos I aint got any hair left !!!

got the rear window motor off.u still after 1 ?

hi just wondering if still have the boot window regulator , as the cogs have worn on mine , hence window wont open and i cannot use the boot ..........help anyone .thanks

Have you got the glow plug relay?
The one in the fuse box

Carlos i don't mean to question you but the glowplug relay is attatched to the inner wing on the left side of the vehicle.Do you mean the 80amp fuse that is in the fuse box by any chance

Cool mate, no probs.
It sits in the same box as the 80 amp fuse, but its the relay I need, I have the fuse.

not sure which relay I need now

Me again!
Just found out that I do have a relay under the bonnet after all.
This clicks twice when I turn on the ingnition, in rapid succession, once when the glow plug light comes on and then almost immediately as the light goes out. No matter how cold the engine is the glow plugs effectively are on for about half a second. I was told there is another relay under the fuse box. A silver one? Is there any other circuitry for this, ie a timer or is the whole thing just 2 relays. I am planning on changing the relays but dont want to do this and be told there is a timer to change as well.

My local mechanic says install a relay from a renault espace as these are cheap and work, anyone tried this.

Any help on how the whole circuit work would be really handy
