  • breaking 1990/91 surf

as title suggests time has come to break due to head we had fitted not being fitted correctly and cut a long story short it seized on my wife a few months ago due to a sudden massive oil leak on the a1m(head had only done 2,000 miles)

everything is available apart from cibies, rear window motor, bottom end of course and pass mirror for pics see thread as i have a ad running on ebay

    Surf parts.

have you the auto filler pipe (metal section) and not including dipstick for sale. I know it's only a minor thing but I can't get a new one and repairs I think will be difficult.

    Thanks.

Hi, how much would you be asking for the panel that sits below the radio and in front of the gear levers? It's just below the ash tray.

It's the grey panel that is held on by a push-clip on each side and a bayonet type clip from behind. It also as a small pocket/tray on the front.

              Hi Michael,

does it have an electric sunroof? I need to repair mine as the drive blocks have stripped their teeth.

What would you want for either the sunroof as a whole (don't need the motor) or ideally just for the glass + block plates?

I'm in Co. Durham too so could collect.

Also, does it have 3-point rear belts? If so, how much for those?

I'll try to get a picture to you tomorrow, but it is the piece right at the bottom. It sits on the tunnel carpet right infront of the of the gear levers surround. It stands vertical from the carpet and finishes just under the dash mounted ash tray and cigarette lighter. It has a small open tray mounted on the front of it.

                          Thanks Bushwhacker,

Yes, thats the part only on my 1995 model there is a open tray attached to the front, where the black power point on your photo is located.

I highlighted the part from you picture and it is shown in the link below

I got the pic from 'codlords' website, his was a pre-facelift Surf. Mine has the cubby hole/tray thingy too, good for pens and pencils.

Yes, that's probably the best description for the tray I was trying to describe 'A pens and Pencils Holder'.

I only want a spare one because I'm looking to mount the Rancho 'In Cab' adjustable shocks system dials and buttons into it. If I make a mess of it then at least I can put it back the way it was!

Any idea what the small black box, connected by a multi-plug, that lies behind this panel is?
