I've obtained a spare rear window mechanism and motor from my "spare" truck for breaking (see other thread) and put it in my Surf. Both of the trucks are KZN130s, but the motor was pointing in different directions. As "clockwise rotation" is clockwise whichever...

I have a 91 hilux surf on which the rear window motor blew up a few days ago, would anyone be able to tell me if this would work as a replacement? Cheers,

I am looking to buy a gen 3 surf and really do not like the look of the back end without the spare wheel mount on the rear door. If I find one that suits me without the rear door wheel mount I was wondering how easy/costly it would be to purchase & fit the rear door, swing out wheel mount?

Have not found a thread for this one yet.... any ideas for this problem? Okay, just bought my second Surf (last one died in 2007, probably due to my neglect, not this time). It's a beauty if I say so myself, only 45k miles on the clock and both the engine and interior don't suggest otherwise.

So, want to do a service on it myself....something I've never done...
