  • Burgundy 2.4l wanted (manual)

    Why a 2.4? I still can't afford a 3.0l

I have talked my wife into selling her rover 414 for a surf!

I would rather buy one from you forum folks than take my chances with eBay and the like so I am looking for a stock standard vehicle please in good order preferably with a new head all ready done.

She hates auto's! so a manual it has to be and red/burgundy

Not got the cash at this very moment but can put it together, I do not mind traveling as I would imagine there is nothing up my way.

I know it is a lot to ask for one of those rare manuals! and burgundy together but hey, it has to be worth a go...

    Cheers, Bill...

Thanks Richard! I did think about your 2.4 as I could probably get round the auto thing with her, she thinks it makes her less of a driver
But I imagine you want rid of right away? Truth is, I'd go for it in a second but I have not got the cash today. I was more setting up a sale hopefully for a soonish time.

Basically, Rover mot is due which is not a problem, sell it, put some money to it and I'm there type thing The rover will sell in seconds up here. We are frequently asked to sell it by mothers at the primary school. It's horribly clean and red!

Yeah, it looks alright that one.

Well, If you do buy it if it don't sell I would buy it off you when I get the funds sorted. It's cool by the way, I understand that you have to make profit and all that so don't be concerned about that, whatever you think would be good with me as I trust you

The 4x4 not working might be a biggy though? could also be a simple fix
