clock for 3rd gen

has anyone got a clock to fit a 3rd gen surf? I just found the price of a new one and died! any alternative ideas would be welcome.(I already wear a watch!)

I would suggest getting a clock from a breakers yard, get one similar in size/shape and make up something to make it fit. Assuming you still have the old one, you could strip of the electronics from one that works and fit to your old housing. Worked for me on a car once!

As Ciaran says, try the breakers yard. Look for any Toyota of a similar age and there is a good chance the clock will be the same. They don't make clocks specificaly for 1 model, they fit a range. While you're there, get some bulbs from the switches too.

I tried that for my 1994 SSRX LTD , I fixed it with Toyota Carina ones from the scrap yard but needle stuck at 50 miles and failed at SVA test

Mine has brooken while converting speedo face and sadly still no chance to find in UK after contact min.50 scrap yards ,supplier!
she is still waiting for SVA retest and pain in the ..ss...

I found a good supplier in Japan and just waiting for the quotation,
