tailgate motor

Hi all

I'm after a new or refurbed tailgate window motor, the teeth on mine are gone, the motor is pretty much shot as well. Im bored after 2 years of not being able to get into the back of my wagon! I spoke to a guy on here that was going to sell me one around 6 months ago but he fell off the edge of the planet.

tailgate motor

Is it possible for the tailgate motor to be refurbished at home ( is it a serviceable part )?
I've swapped my motor with a replacement and cleaned the window channels and my tailgate window is working again.

The old motor still works but is very sluggish when tested next to the replacement, so I was thinking it might possible to take it apart and clean it internally
