I'm in need of a pair of front seatbelt buckles (the female part that bolts to the seat/gearbox tunnel depending on model) for my old nail...I've removed the harnesses and I'm dammed if I can find the original units
Yep..they be the ones...should suit a 28mm male buckle (I think most of em are the same, but did encounter a really fat variant (prob close to 40mm) on an early surf...
I'll check, I have ones from different years, I think the old non-EFI 2.4 Surfs are different to all the newer trucks.
Hi Tony...any joy yet? Have a trip to make at the weekend...so really need to sort something out smartish...or ratchet straps will be replacing seatbelts!
Hi, sorry for delay, all the Surf front belt's I found are 25mm, but are later 2nd Gens, I have pair of 4Runner front seat belts that are 28mm, but can't find the buckles, only the belts.
I have another shed to look it, up yard, and sure I havn't sold them, PM me your address, if I find them and post them City Link tomorrow you'll get them friday.
Or I can send you matching belts and buckles from a Surf too if I can't find the bigger buckles and you're desperate??
Blue one is form 4Runner and I'd guess pre-facelift Surfs, grey one is normal Surf, if pics help.

i think the panics off at the moment...i have a mate locally who has a pair of LAND ROVER discovery belts kicking about..which will save my bacon for the weekend i think... depending on how well they fit will depend on if they stay...im already using 4runner belts in a pickup, which isn't ideal as they have no protection...so the landy ones might work out better all around.
oh...the one on the right is the same as mine....(was from a M reg 4runner) which also have the same buckle as the UK pickup for future reference
