We certainly will have happy towing, this is what I need to tow to track days,

And even better news, after 6 months of sitting unused the surf fired into life remarkably easy today, no cough or splutter into life just straight into stable idle, couldn't believe it I expected a fight to get it back running again but it was just like I'd only parked it there 5 mins before.

Wolfracer, did you by any chance have the two angled side plates for the towbar you sent me? If not, It looks like I'll have to go buy a new one after all as your one is not complete so can't mount it on the chassis

So what I thought was a useful second hand towbar, turns out to be half a towbar as there is no side plates to mount what I was sent on to the chassis, I've checked with three towbar suppliers and the required side plates are not available without buying a whole new towbar, great.......
