  • Uprated Torsion Bars

I'm after a pair of upated torsion bars or information on where I can get my hands on a pair.

Roughtrax are not selling them seperate so no need to suggest this

How much of a lift are you having on your truck. If your just having 2" suspension lift then i wouldn't bother with the torsion bars.I had a 3.5" suspension lift on my old 2nd gen and still kept the original t/bars.My truck was well and truely abused on and off road and i never had a problem with them

Love mine with a 1.5" lift I use my truck for camping trips and when it's fully loaded the uprated bars stop the front diving every time I brake going downhill....

I have the Roughtrax 2" kit (springs/shocks) but no Torsion Bars.

At the moment the truck has a full set of Desert Fox standard size shocks fitted and I like the ride quality they give.

I have been reading for days/hours about the 2" lift on the forum but you know what, there is that many different opinions i am none the wiser.

The reason I have the +2" suspension parts is because I got them very cheap and all brand new.

After reading other sources regarding uprated TB's I have come to the conclusion that with the rest of the kit fitted this will give me a good quality ride and full travel of the suspension.

I know the shocks where replaced because they were fooked so I imagine these 15 year old TB's are not to far behind. Only problem is I can't find an uprated pair for sale in the UK.

What about fitting 1" BJ spacers and then using the standard TB's wound up a bit to level the front out???

        My f'ing head is spinning!

            Mine are ironman ones too

If the OP doesn't want them I'll take them off your hands for my 3.0.

            Cheers,
            Rob.

We're looking around 9kg for the bars. So with a bit of packing still be under 10kg.

Post your postcode an I'll get a quote
