2.4 TD engine needed... quick

does anyone have an engine for a 1991 Surf ssr. 2.4 TD.
Or does anyone have any information as to where I can get a reconditioned unit. I will consider any option as I need to get my Surf back on the road. Does anyone know if the engine for the Hi-lux pick ups would fit in a Surf without to much modification.
With the amount of engines and heads that are being requested on this site, you might think there is a problem with Toyotas reliability image!!!!!!

seems you've just joined my club!! sorry to hear about your trouble's i know how you feel, i'm going through the same as we speak!!!

been trying all sorts to sort mine out for weeks but now its come to the point where i'm just going to stick another engine in!!

Got a perfect running 1990 2.4 TD engine with manual gearbox in a rolled shell. You can have the lot for £850, trouble is i'm on the south coast!!
