  • '92 2.4 fuel pump LN130 engine...

I *might* need one depending on the prognosis. Anyone got one from breaking? Also fuel primer head required, gotta be cheap as old ones seem prone to crack? and new are only £65.

anyone know where I can get fuel pump gasket / O ring - I am guessing Toyota dealer, but anyone know any different?

Daft bloke at the garage left a message saying its my starter motor gone. Bollox! I just think hes failed to press the imobilizer button!!!

laters - its dinner time now, mmmm, liver and mash with onion gravy.

    oh dear

well, the man said it is a fooked fuel pump, but at least he hasnt charged me for the time spent diagnosing. Mind you he did suggest going to a Diesel specialist....

Having the Sub towed back to the house tomorrow, so I can check the O ring on the fuel pump, and the innards if I need to.

Well, at least its an EFI so the price for a new pump should be a bit more sensible than the price Plumbob was quoted for his!

Anyhow, if anyone has any advice on pumps, then I'm all ears.

Someone said that you can get an EFi pump from Oz for a couple a hundred quid...

Aye, that was me, after much searching for my pump (still no luck yet) the part no you need is 221005B-300 and thats from memory!

See Nifty nev if you wanjt one, or pm sledge, as he had one that he offered me, but it's for an EFI.

      He might still have it.

          £200 from toyota!

Well, Ive gone for the cheap Denso pump, £187+vat from my local toyota garage. I went to see a diesel pump repair block who said he has NEVER heard of a pump so cheap. even if i just used the fuel line solenoid he reckoned it would be cheaper than buying the solenoid itself.

Managed to get the Sub back home tonight, made it nearly all the way under my own power, but had to be towed the last 500 yards behind my mates T4 transporter (ex AA van) with 120bhp.

Pumps due next week, I shall keep thee informed.

Plumb bob, you sort your pump out? I went on that 24/7 spares website and got about 10 replies from breakers with 2nd hand EFI pumps. If you have not tried the site, maybe give it a go. they all quoted about 200 poorly octopii for the efi pump.
