        Well I had a certain garage that tested my rad and told me that there was nothing wrong with it, but before I started pulling it appart I had the coolant tested for gasses, and hey guess what none in there, then I had a compression test done, and it was ok, so either the rad was stuffed or someone was lighting a fire under me surf!

        So I took my rad somewhere for another flow test, another £50 amazing how easy it is to spend, and its only working at 60%, they also said to bring the fan and coupling down, and they condemed that also, good job I didn't take the misses!

        Anyways, one happy spans, I am now looking for another coupling, and I have just bought a new rad, lets hope I can do some overtime to make up for it...

            I dunno what its ment to do when its ok! , but the guy in the garage told me that it was knackered, and it does freewheel far too much...

              Then all you need is some silicone fluid.
              When the engine is cold, the fan freewheels. When hot the fan is harder to turn.
