Rear tailgate heated window is now broke!

Have crafted a perspex copy and fitted, so at least I feel the car is slightly secure, but can't put anything in the boot, cus ya can see in, now.

Have you got WINDSCREEN cover included on your insurance ???
If so its the same as the 4runner same year as yours. If you say its a SURF they wont have a clue.

I had to take the wifes import Honda CRX Del Sol in for a new windscreen just this week to Autoglass. Although the car is an import they had a new windscreen the next day. Whist waiting I was talking to the guy about the Surf - he says they source their glass for the Surf direct from Toyota and usually have it within 3 days.
As Marky has said - claim on your insurance - it covers all the glass in the car. You found it smashed when you returned to the car park after shopping.

After some pullaver over RACwindscreens need to actually see the insurance certificate (new regs), the glass is ordered

includes rear heater and surf logo as per original

discussed spec
didn't sound right
went to see glass....RAC saw Truck
light brown tint doesnt cut it on my blue heavily tinted SURF
he agreed to have it tinted
still waiting
overdue
no call

If no luck I have complete door and glass etc. Glass is blue/mirror tint
