Surf in an ex forest

Here is my Surf parked up in the middle of a forest that has just been felled. The forest was planted in the early 70s by my grandfather, but was sold to a commercial forestry company after he died.

Wish I had some money to buy back the land and re-plant it.

I don't know what is happening. The price of timber is so poor now that it's not worth replanting it commercially. I understand the forestry company want to sell the land, but £150K is just a tad beyond my reach (plus the cost of replanting which is probably almost half as much again).
