Here are some pictures of my journey yesterday, its perhaps not a location many of you will be familiar with, nestled between Albania, Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece. I am working out here at the moment, I brought the Surf with me as it seemed ideal for the terrain that this country has, the whole place is like one big green lane!
The pictures are from the mountain road that runs from the Mavrovo ski resort to the tiny village of Galichnik in the west of the country at around 1500m above sea level. Its almost impossible to get up here in the depths of winter (even in a Surf!) due to the heavy snow fall, you need a snow track or snow mobile! But as you can see from the pics, most of the snow has melted leaving grassy/rocky areas and plenty of rough gravel/mud/rock tracks to explore!
