Tennyson Trail 14th Nov

Hi Gang,

Any one up for the Tennyson Trail on Sunday 14th November .

The trail is about 2.5 hrs to drive one way, so you can then go and visit some of the island if you wish or we can return along the trail. There are also a couple of fords we can play in! Also there is the Bembridge Trail which I have driven some of and some bits I have not found yet!!! So there is plenty of choices.

Ferry fares are for car and up to 4 in people and are as follows

Wightlink - Portsmouth to Fishbourne (35min Crossing)
Lymington to Yarmouth (30min Crossing)
£29.50 (with voucher see link)

Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferries, Isle of wight holidays + Short Breaks

Red Funnel - Southampton to East Cowes (1 Hour crossing)

£29.50 (must be booked and paid 24hrs in advance)

best to ring this booking through on 0870 4448898 as I have just tried an online booking and it came up as £61 !!!

Ok over to you gang any one up for it or am I going alone again!!

Sounds like fun but we don't have off road tyres just the very very slippy ones that came from Japan. I have been scaring lots of people including myself sliding to a halt at roundabouts!!!

Would we still be able to do it?

I think we might be busy too but I really want to get the surf diiiiirty! Will see if Snoop aka Doug is working or not?!

Is anyone going on the Sat and staying over??? As it's quite a long way for me!

I am on road tyres - my beast coped fine in the summer both with this, and a couple of Jaunts on Salisbury Plain.

Hi Lottie,

You will be ok on this track with road tyres but we would recommend that you consider upgrading if you decide to get more serious.

As to the stopping over I am!! ohh yes thats right i live ere!!

Boo Hooo Snoop is working and needs the Surf to fix his stupid rally car which means I can't have it to come off roading I'd come in my own car but it's too low to get on the Ferry!!! Plus theres no way I'd take it off road!

Grrrr Next time!!! Really want to go to the place near East Grinstead as thats really close to me!
