      Lewis,
Nobody is getting PMs. The service is withdrawn. Suggest you post your e-mail details here and ask for confirmations for Sunday. I'd hate anyone to miss the opportunity of joining if there are any drop-outs.

        N. Wales Green Lanes are my old instructor routes, I should have some old maps in the attic and some old notes on the area. The Wayfarer is a well known route but there is a good run up out of Langollan, nice rocky steps up a very steep hill ( I remember taking the chief cheese of Toyota up there and he failed to make the top )

BTW there is a nice track off the Wayfarer that leads through a forest owned by Kronospan the chipboard people, however it can be a bit dodgy straddling the deep tracks left by forestry vehicles so a guide would be needed on foot. Directions: coming of the Chirk end turn downhill before the exit gate, once past the deep tracks follow up to the next gate on the right, follow through to a ford and carry on through the forest to the exit gate. Makes it a bit more interesting.

We used to call that run 'No Return Hill' I got stuck out there once in a Landy and I extracted myself with a hi-lift jack in the dark

        Have fun

which one, if it's up the otherside of Frodsham towards Kingsley, not sure if it's still there it was fun when I last went, should've seen the state of the Landcruiser and on the telly too, but I think it's now a housing developement.

Hate to do this but I have to cry off this sunday. The rear halfshaft oil seal has gone and decided to fail, and pee oil all over the brake drum making it damn useless as a stopping thing. The trip out to Rotheram and back today highlighted the fact with the ABS constantly kicking in coming down from the woodhead pass.

Will be placing an order in the morning at Milners for new seals but cant see them getting here till tue at the earliest. Very sorry that I'm going to miss out on this trip. Have a Good one.
