Well my girlfriend wants to see her home town [ Preston] anyway so we might aswell make it that weekend if we can, bit of a treck [only what 4/5 hrs ] but i cant miss being in an 11 long line of surfs

OK, I think we're going to need to start thinking about exactly what we're going to do. The best time to actually see the lights is when it starts to get dark (probably around 7pm by late October), and the full run of Blackpool front with the lights (the so called Golden mile) is around 6 miles and will probably take about an hour. I know some of you want to make a day of it, but I'm also aware that there are some who are travelling a long way ( Mr Stiggy).

Don't need any definate plans yet, but just sleep on it.

come on people anymore for Blackpool, i am sure we can do better then this, even if u only want to go down for the lights and be there for an hour or two and not have the day there thats ok. Its a family day out so come on get your name down and lets get the count over 20 or better still 30 lol. Its going to be a fun day and u dont want to miss out on it do u now
