i went down to the Strata and surrounding lanes last weekend and came across a convoy of land rover owners that looked quite official (as they were takeing our numbers and plotting grid references as we were off piste).
we were in a group of 3 and they were in a group of 14, we had to park in the river to let them past, and listening to them on the cb they were going to report US for being in the river


BTW
we did a night run down the Strata and a morning run up it haveing camped on the roadside over night.

There's a mention of just such an issue in this months GLASS magazine, of members seeing others off piste on Strata Florida and reporting their details to the police, who are now using unmarked offroaders to monitor the situation.

We HAVE to be whiter than white John. Next time, just stay on the track and stare them down until THEY get out of the way. Some of them are proper holier than thou tw@ts - hence my not renewing my GLASS membership. I'm not saying blast around off piste though. It's just a matter of time til Strata gets closed, like Sarn Helen, we all need to try to make sure we have it for as long as possible.

Every Wales run Boyo does, someone called 'Bibs tbc' puts their name down but never turns up

aye, i remember that weekend, ended up a good run, but would have been nice to have done it in a bigger group.

we are going to do more laneing in the near futre as the pay and play sites are expensive and damageing especially as i now own/drive a lesser vehicle
