I love that kind of optimism

I've NEVER done a job on the Surf that's taken as little time as it should!

Booked in the garage on Thursday. I think its the first job I've ever trusted a garage to do on the Surf...

However, needs must. Just dont have the time at the moment.

Shame you don't live closer, I would have fitted them for you.

Got to fit new discs and pads to a Mondeo on wednesday too!

              Cheers fella!

I can drop it off at the garage on my way to work and pick it up at lunchtime so is handy. Just very nervous about handing it to a garage! He does MOT Vicki's car though and has always been fair.

I just changed my rear bearing.
To strip down shoes and fit new ones, 30 minutes, tops.
Ive done 4 now, can do it in my sleep
If you cant sort it, we'll do it Friday at camp site as Ross says...

Just been in contact with the campsites.

When I get confirmation I will post up prices and locations

                  Cheers

EDIT - Just thought - for those of you who cannot make it to the run around Rhayader on the Friday afternoon, I will organise a night run into Crychan Forest for that evening as we will be camping quite close to there.

And yes - Crychan is more famously known on this site as The Lost Forest.....................

I have just spoken Friday campsite and they confirm we are in!

                    http://www.riversidecaravans.com/index.htm

It will cost £5 per truck and £2.50 per person extra. They will not charge anyone for putting up a tent. They have said we can use their gazebo for our BBQ - although there is a pub down the road if you want to go there.

Post code for your reference is - LD4 4BY

I estimate we will get there from Rhayader by 6pm

Yup, started raining here in the early hours and is only just easing now, the same in Abergavenny.

The last time we had rain was at the begining of September.

We will be meeting in the large car park in the centre of Rhayader. You will be coming down the A483 and then cut across on the A44 at Crossgates.

When you get into the centre of Rhayader, at the clock tower, head north on the A470 and then immediately take the B4518 Saint Harmon Road, you will see a large car park immediately on your right.

Have a look on multimap - I can't find a post code for the car park!

Anyone who hasn't got my mobile - pm me yours and I'll ring you.
