Okay Guys I was going to take deposits however, as with all these trips folks drop out for various reasons. Also some want to join on the Sat so.

Here is the plan Meet Stirling services late afternoon tea time. Head for Tyndrum, short run but some will have travled a fair way by then.
Fri night staying in Tyndrum here: http://www.sac.ac.uk/consultancy/wigwams/
Camping or wigwam whatever you fancy

Lazy Drive to Applecross plenty stops.
Sat night staying in Applecross here: http://www.applecross.uk.com/campsite/wigwams.htm
Camping or wigwams whatever you fancy

Run round to Skye drive round see some of the place.
Sun night staying in Portree here: http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/re...asp?revid=2874
Campng or go for BB in Portree.

Thought we could all go out for a meal in Portree on our last night.

If anyone would rather stay in another part of Skye speak up am open to suggestions.

I will leave it up to you when and what your booking I will be booking the above. I'm looking forward to it already. Good company Great trip canny wait

Sligachan is nice, nicer than Portree but only really one Hotel and a campsite.

That's it, no more dithering about. I've booked the wigwams for Friday and Saturday night and hopefully somewhere for Sunday night.

I'll be there with my wife, Laura. Brian, can you add us to the list of people attending please? Can't wait now that the deed is done!

Done mate, 12 trucks and 22 people so far looks like it will be a great weekend.
Now we just need to book the sunshine to see it all at it's best.

Myself and Jim have booked the Fri and Sat night digs.
Please book your wigwam or tent pitch soon as we are going in high season.
We need to pick a B&B, Hotel or camp site on Skye soon as well so have a look and suggest away

Let me know when booked so I can update the thread on SMC.

            Thanks Brian

Had a look at the video and it looks wonderful.

Sadly I'll be on my way back up through France when you're doing this.

It's a great drive up the Pass to Applecross.

Have been there many times with the quattro owners club, I would love to join you all, but the wife has the dates. all ready crossed off in the calander.

I hope you get a clear day for it, as the views from the top, across to Skye are stunning........But If the mist is down you'll see didily squat.

                                Ian.........
