  • Not So Deep, Not So High!

    Hello

I'm thinking of doing a run around Llandovery in the third week of July - Friday 18th, 19th and 20th July.

Based at Erwlon Campsite (lovely) and do some trails including Strata Florida (which we will NOT be doing on the River Deep weekend). Also some new trails I have found and maybe even a vist to see Dafydd at Llanddewi Brefi.

This run will be less hard core than River Deep. I just fancy mooching around West Wales in the sun - some beers, a barbie, the craic, you know!

Anyone up for this, seeing as River Deep is already full!

    Interested.............

Those dates are OK with me, as I'll be camping at Erwlon in June.

That was quite funny Vince - made me guffaw it did!

The dates are the week before most people have summer holidays. Avoids hassle at fully booked campsites and all that malarky.

I'd love to come, but the fuel alone costs nearly £200 for a Wales trip, and as I'm going in Geptember, I guess I'll have to give it a miss, Shame, I like a bbq and some beer on a sunny day in the Welsh hills.

I'll have to move nearer to Wales, then it won't be such a trek.

          Is France near Wales?

Come and live in Wales mate, plenty of room, cheap houses and a shortage of plumbers, apparently.
              D'you like sheep?

Yes, Geptember is always bad due to spool holidags, and sheep are great, but lambs are better..........with mint sauce.

The houses may be cheap ( how cheap? 2 bed terrace?) but the wages will be less too, but to be honest, once my house is sold, I'll be looking for somewhere for me and Harley to live, and I may be looking for lurve too (maybe)

Hehehe, I've calmed down a bit now..

Those prices are relitively cheapish, but mortgages still have to be paid, so I'd need to find a job that pays good money, but as a CORGI installer, I should be able to find sommat localish with a vehicle supplied ( if I wanna go back On the tools) or maybe a office/tech support kinda job with a mid/large company.

Worth thinking about, when the time comes.

And of course, a chance to meet those lovely Welsh girls..

                        Cheers.
