Oh how I'd love to go. Sounds exactly like my perfect off road weekend (nothing scary). Trouble is it's a 600 mile round trip and if diesel has hit £1.50 a litre by then it would cost approx £150 in fuel. Still, if I save up hard enough, I might just make it, when would be the latest date to confirm?

Have put a guy from work down. He'd like to come and have a go - 1st timer (with a Disco - but dont hold that against him). He's on road tyres but he should be OK for Strata and other stuff that doesn't get too muddy.
