Hi Apache, I will get some pics and some spec up at the weekend so you can see a bit more about the truck im in. I am new to Hilux Surfs so i am still learning, but basically its a 3.0 ltr TUrbo Diesel manual, 1993 model, 2 inch uplift with some fancy looking springs and shocks (forgotten the names).

I am guessing I will need some snow tyres ? If I do make the list of people going I will be ready to listen to what I need to buy for the trip and make sure the truck is properly equipped.

Hmmm let me see - all terrain tyres, an auto gearbox, a tent, some waterproof clothes, a body lift - at least 1.5", a suspension lift, at least 2", maybe a crash helmet.....or a soft hat.....a camping stove, kettle, pans, coffee/tea......oh yeah, did I mention - and auto gearbox.....
