As those who have been before know, the pub is great for beer, but poor on food, so I'm dragging the Gas BBQ along for the Sunday night nosh. Its got wheels so therefore I can tow it.

Anyway, you lot supply your own food/beer and I'll burn it for you.

Oh, just thought. I need tyres. Anyone got some AT's I can borrow? Not going to get time to finish the truck before we go!

no but i got some old MT's on steelies going cheap or you can borrow them but i doubt we'll cross paths before then.

Campsite is right opposite the Bustard Inn and will do runs from there towards Copehill and around 9 Mile River then wherever I decide from there. I havent really looked at routes yet, but I will include the usual favourites.

The Bustard... I have memories of the carpark opposite at about 2am in the rain in the winter trying to operate a laptop with frozen fingers...

I usually go to a beer festival at some point over that weekend. What's the lowdown on just turning up on the offchance? Is it possible, or frowned upon?

I'll have to limit the number of vehicles to 20 for now but as you can bring as many occupants as you can physically fit in your trucks! This is on a first come first serve basis.

After the last two years failed attempts by the pub to organise food, it'll be a BBQ on the camp site with either your own beer or carry a pint across the road from the pub!

Camping is £10 per pitch all of which goes to charity.


Danno is there any space left for the camping as I've somehow manage to get out of work and fancy coming for the night and the two days in the mud....i should have new tyres by then and will want to try them out.

I'm going to be doing some "bits" to my surf and im about 99.9% certain that it wont be ready for any offroading for the campout!! I'd absolutly love to come along for the day if anyone has got room for me
