just me on sunday then on monday me the wife and kids

if the weather keeps up there will be no mud!! just one big dust bowl!! Anyone who has been up there of recent whats the conditions like?? the off road place not to far from me, end of march every dip was filled with water and mud everywhere. now its just a few hills and bone dry. not even a puddle!

thats good for technical stuff though and stops us all blocking our rads!

Is there a method to stop the rads getting blocked perhaps some card on the front or something?? has anyone tried this does it help?

I have seen that technique used before, so guess it works.

unless your stuck in mud up to the rad in which case its gonne seep through anyway. might stop the spray though.

I was told by a guy who runS an offroading centre that a sheet of plastic, dropped infront, before entering the mud is a way to keep the radiator clear of mud.

I had a tone if mud stuck in the rad a few weeks back it was set rock hard i got it off with the jet wash but now lots of the cooling fins on the rad are missing!!! . think i`m going to have to shell out for a new rad before long!! at the moment its cooling ok we will see how it performs at the weekend.

Sorry to be off topic mate, But was it your surf that was on ebay for quite some time?? Proper jacked up on Kumho Mt's with some roof bars on the back? If so....I LOVE it !

possably. it sounds like it. I got it from the Auto Trader at the end of march think it might have been on ebay at some point. i did not have any pictures of my own so i used one from the advert until i get my own pics sorted. I`m loving it so far its been a great buy.
