Well its easier for me anyway i think, especially gettin the ferry saves the diesel. Quite enjoy heading down the coast.

Have you been over the Rest with your 33's on yet???

Think the weathers to be crackin' over the weekend.

Anyone decided on a channel for the Cb yet??? i'll go for one between 1 and 40

not been up the rest with the 33"s yet.

yea that certainlly is the best way for you, i was geting mixed up.

i worked in Gourock before, always went the m8 though. found it easier driving, motorway all the way, and it wont be that busy on a sat morning.

agree about the weather, saw bbc earlier and we've to be 20 deg.

should still be muddy though, we've had a good few days of rain and showers in the last week.

are pmr's compatible with cb's, never got round to getting a cb yet

put your number into my phone, mine is 0788 439 0022.

          cheers scotty

Not sure about PMR's and CB's. I know Dave's got a set of PMR's and a CB.He'll be able to tell you. But wouldn't do any harm bringing them along.

I'll try to remember my PMR this time.

I think thwe ones I have will work on some CB channels too. I'll have to dig out the info. oh and probably charge them. I've got 2 so I can always let someone borrow if needed.

                      no worries,

i can meet you as you come off m74, if you like.

probably better waiting to friday night and making arrangments between us all then, by that time everyone should know what they are doing.

                      cheers scotty.

CB's, mobiles and PMR's! It's good to talk!

I'm staying Saturday so what are folk thinking food wise? Baked beans over a campfire or curry in town?

Just remember to bring a glass, a dram's bl@@dy awful out of plastic!

Isn't drinking a dram out of plastic sacrilege ?

I'll probably be bringing the primus, so its more than likely going to be beans or such like, I might go and by a bigger camp cooker and make something, though I'm open to a curry in town, though that would limit the drinking, somewhat.

I'm going take some beer and gin, just to take the edge off.

We'll be able to play on Sunday too, yay.

                                just read this on scotwest site;

                                http://www.scotlandwest.org.uk/

have any of you guys heard how much it is costing?

we just usually go to the farmers house and give him a score, hes not doing to bad if the price is up to 35 for a day.

                                typical tight scotsman i know.

                                cheers scotty
