How can i remove stickers without damaging the paint job???

I have recently purchased a 3rd gen Surf , metalic green , it has these huge offroad purple stickers! How can i remove them without damaging the paint job! any clues???? please help

hair drier / hot air gun - to soften adhesive
old credit card as sc raper
wd40 or similar - to remove adhesive residue
lots of spare time and patienece.
then a good cutting polish!

Do a Search for Caramel Wheel. There was a thread on this same subject recently and someone recommended a caramel wheel for sticker removal. Dont know what they are myself and less sure if you get them in Africa or wherever you are
