i'm gonna try to get the rad out tomorrow and hose that off and then do the oil and filters next week and must remember to put the air intake hose back aswell
They allow the diff to breath as oil heats and cool and if blocked can pressurise (not good) one on each diff the rear is easy to spot as its ontop , As for the front on a 3rd gen i would have to bow to the more learned ones
Thanks
I missed that when I changed the oil in the rear diff I guess you could get water in the oil through them -- something else to worry about
I have even found the front diff yet there is so much clutter under there.
Also to add to the defuncted list is the liner to my offside front wheel arch ( funny noise at the top of the M3; it was rubbing on the tyre occasionally) anyone know where to get another? It seems to be made of cardboard or am I still pxxxxx as its only Sat am.
As Lurch was changing his wheel, with 4 surfs behind him, we caught up with our 4 behind about to cross the A303 at Stonehenge. As Jon and I crossed, there was a loud bang as a Merc rear ended another car rather hard as he was too busy looking at 10 trucks lined up and not at where he was going!

I did chuckle a bit.
