No mate. Walna scar is closed forever. the ancient right to drive vehicles on dual status unclassified country roads (as well as RUPP's ) was extinguished by clauses 61 and 62 or the national environment and rural communities (NERC) bill which got royal assent on 2nd may. That took out walna scar along with about half the green lanes in the country.

The TRO was just a holdi8ng measure till the perminant closure came in. see the LDNPA website if you don't beleive me.

However, there is a little ray of hope.

As this bill, like many others passed by this government, is all for effect and to appease influential lobbyist (in this case the rambliars, and Gleam, an alliance of people who own property that would be worth more if it wasn't on a public highway), it is not fully thought out.

Don't rely on this but it may be quite difficult to prosecute someone who accidentaly drives on what was previously a legal road. the main route through the Road traffic Act is 'driving other than on a road' but UCR's and RUPPS are bing changed to 'Restricted byways' still a road. his leaves 'section59 powers' but for those to be applicable the police need to show that your presence on the road caused undue distress (due to noise or whatever) or did damage) so if you were to drive when there are no walkers about, such as at night or rainy weekday mornings, then there's no=one to be distressed.

the governments answer will be a specific offence of vehicular tresspass, which they will get support for by whipping up more fear of traveling people (pikeys). has been trialed as a private members bill but it will be back.

Don't vote for these clowns, and you never know we might keep something.
