I have just spoken to Roy the landlord of the pub and arrangd the meals. If you haven't told me your exact numbers by this sunday then there is a chance you'll be going hungry that night.

He is also going to set up the skittle alley for us as well FOC as we are all eating.

It will be in two sittings so we can fight amongst ourselves for who goes first!

Camping is arranged and booked, hopefully the weather holds out.

The Plains are quite mild from wot I remember , some rough bits and there is always a easy route around if you want . Danno will show you .
As for checks , just usual oil, water , washer fluid , tyre pressure , wellies and a good rope (just in case) but I got a good strop as do many other if you need it .I carry spare water just in case .

but if he cooks the BBQ beware it takes a cast iron gut or you will meet

Oh another tip don't follow directly behind Danno, wait until you have seen a few others get stuck first. Oh and make sure you have enougth batteries for your camera.

cheers guys, can't wait will be giving the truck a good service during the week (provided my milners order gets here ok) and checking the usual. i'll definately be bringing the digicam and probably camcorder to film the scenery and the gaffs i am 99% sure to make.

Baby wipes for the hands if you get muddy, a water container full and some paper/rags to clean mud splash off headlights, number plate before you leave.

Plains arn't that hard, just like green lanes with some harder options if you want them. You'll be fine.
