How long are you at Leconfield and are you taking the Surf up ? I live right beside the camp and Langdale Quest is only an hour away ?
Needless to say I'll have to wait till Steveo fixes it !!

Does anyone know anything about this? start of a thread on another forum - no one seems to know what is going on, just that something is. Don't know if it might affect you guys?

Are you southern chaps aware what is happening on Salisbury Plain at
          > the moment. Contractors are erecting fencing round the range
          > perimeter path. When spoken to and asked "WTF are you guys doing"
          > Reply came "Fencing off the Plain to stop trailriders getting in."

Its more than likely to stop the minority small minded bike riders that roar across the byways and plains upsetting everybody else. Doubt it will affect us, but i'll check with the land wardens to make sure.

All the routes I use are genuine byways and legally accessable.

Thanks for the heads up though Dave

Its bad enough that the A360 witch goes accross the middle of the plain is closed for three weeks from the 10th april to rebuild the tank crossings. but i must say that i have not seen any fences going up .

one thing that i noticed was that puddle has had some recent press coverage in Total off road . Last month with the landcruiser meet and this month a letter from a rights of way person about its use

I will be there with the Landcruiser club on the 30th of April. For detail visit http://www.landcruisers.info

A good opportunity to chat to the landcruiser owners. I’ve been told that the new surfs and the landcruisers shares the same chassis.

See you guys in Salisbury plain the 30th of April.

                      Cheers,
                      Sripad

Yes , all being well I have a babysitter And company during the day in the truck, you remember Kelly don't you Dan from our BBQ last year?

So you'll have to be gentle with me as I've not been out "without Gav" in the truck off roading before. Might need you to check it over first for me please Dan, Gav's still worried about the oil leak, but I'm guessing you'll want to come and see Project LTP before you go out anyway?!

Yeah no worries I'll come up early and poke around it for you. I'll be going easy anyway, coz I got TDL, the daily driver as LTP is not going to be fit for service.

And yes I remember Kelly Try and keep her from throwing up this time tho!
