Hello everyone. In case anyone is interested there's a large sand quarry in Mansfield Nottinghamshire known locally as the desert.
It was used as an illegal offroad motorsport venue for some time, until recently the police had semi-ignored it but over the last two years its been heavily clamped down on.
Anyhoos it has been reopened now as a proper pay and play site with marshals, food vans etc and I believe it's £25 per vehicle per day and it'll run every Sunday
a couple of people I know have been today and they said it was excellent. I hope to go soon so will update with some pictures
