avalanche weekend 2011

I watched a relatively standard surf bounce its way up a VERY rocky/boulder green lane in the peak district. A few mud holes ain't gonna kill your truck, unless its a petrol!
I am always impressed at what these trucks can handle. For the majority of us, our lack of skill, ability and the fear factor kick in well before the truck gets to its limit!
I'm gonna take it easy, but I know by the end of the weekend i'll be getting air off the hills and scooping mud out the footwells!

I have just been looking through some pictures on the avalanche website and am getting a little concerned about what i've let myself in for!
My surf is totally standard, no lift, no winch and still on 30" tyres. My only offroad experience is parking my work van on pavements
I hope the beginner bits are easy, i dont fancy bashing my truck up.
