Looking at the pics I reckon -lost traction on ascent, rolled back, left n/s wheel up grassy bit and timberrrrrrrrr!
I spent several minutes on the sidestep of an Iuszu pickup at the October meet to stop it going over. The young lady looked a little sheepish.

Elaborate grasshopper ? ? what happened ?

The clutch was slipping a bit as we left, then two miles down the road nothing, no gears but a lot of revs. I had it replaced last July, and didn't really push it much at all yesterday. Not very impressed! Would have liked to say i was just giving him a rest on the way home. Still, didnt get any dents, how she looking Darren? If i remember my scuba gear next time i may even be tempted by a ride in the fourtrack!

Shame we missed it... floor sanding and varnishing was DEFINATELY not as much fun! Still only 4 days to Yorkshire!!!!! Yippee!!

It was a great day, thanks for the driving tips and rides in your own beasts guys,
total damage achieved in the 1st week of owning my surf:
squashed exhaust exit
Broken fog light
Bent sump guard
New dent in bumper
Slightly bent running board
and a permanent grin
not bad really and atleast I didn't manage the same as the pajero.
You could have told us though that actually this surf club involves using your surf to tow your off road car to events so you don't damage it or do some of you take them off road???
