  • The Pit 4th April

Is anyone going to the Devils Pit this sunday (4th April), their site says it's an open day. I bought a surf on saturday and I'm keen to test it out in the mud. I bought a 2.4td auto H reg and have been grinning ever since. I've never driven off road and hoped there might be someone around to show me the ropes. This is a great site, It's really help me understand what I was buying and what to look for, thanks all for your postings.

Sorry guys - Tony & I are not going this time - we were at Avon Dassett last week, and Langdale on 9thApril, and we need a rest to rebuild the house this weekend!!!

      Maybe the next one tho....

We'll maybe it's a good chance for us novices to have a practice before we have to 'perform' in front of some pros! Is there likely to be an organised meet in the next few months?

Sounds good, i hope to be there most of the day. Not so sure about the camera, at least that way if we make a real mess of it there would be no photographic evidence!

Yes - an evidence of loss of virginity is needed to qualify as a muddied surfer... (for the uninitiated that means the loss of the fog light!!)

A fog lamp check could be made if required by the 'Commitee' .

Well now i feel like a fraud, i'm on my 3rd fog light! I don't feel like i've been put through my paces though, but i think it could be a bad move asking for a challenge!!
