  • Avalanche Adventure Weekend

Thinking of booking a weekend here next year, sometime in July/August.
See here for the website http://www.avalancheadventure.co.uk/

    Site has:
    2 Hot showers
    Ladies & Gents toilet
    Running water
Camping tent or caravan (bring your own)
Off road course easy and an extreme winch section and sections in between.
They have a list of green lanes in the area
A large wooded area for driving round.
Two drum BBQ we can use (just bring coals)
Can turn up on the Friday and set up ready for the weekend
Kids are welcome, the age 12 rule is purely for the use of their vehicles.
trailored vehicles are welcome as long as they have roll cage and full exhaust system

I invisage that based on 12 people it will cost £50 per person/family for Fri, Sat & Sun. More than 12 and the price comes down.
If you only wish to turn up for one day then thats fine.
Please state with your interest if its for:
    Friday night, Sat & Sun
    Sat & Sun
    Just for one day

I need to start getting numbers now so can work costs out and get the place booked.
You will be required to pay up front in full (non refundable) as I need to pay for it.

The place is on the Welford road, Sibbertoft, Market Harborough, Leicestershire so is pretty central for everyone.

So get your names down now

Sounds like a laugh, me and my better half are interested depending when you book for and if we can get time off work. shouldn't be a problem as long as we've got some notice. We'll be up for the whole weekend.
Do you know if its dog friendly?

Do they mean the age limit for drivers is 12 or kids on site generally? Think I'll need that one clarified. I have seen some youngsters driving 4x4's on other offroad sites, it is legal AFAIK.

The over 12 rule applies to the hire of their equipment, quads ect. There is no age restriction on us using our own vehicles.

I've searched the web link but can't find anywhere whether dogs are welcome at the site, does anyone know if it'll be alright to bring her along?

                              Cheers Steve
